Applies to: LOQED Touch Smart Lock and LOQED Pure. Where the models differ, use the model-specific section below.
Before you reset
Resetting removes settings, shared keys, schedules and other lock configuration. Only reset when you are ready to reinstall the lock.
Keep the door open while testing or reinstalling.
If you have LOQED Pure, follow the guided setup in the LOQED app and the Pure installation article. The older step-by-step instructions below are written for LOQED Touch hardware.
LOQED Touch reset and reconfiguration
Before you can re-install the LOQED Touch Smart Lock, the inside module and bridge will need to be reset.
Important! All settings will be lost. Shared key's, time schedules and other settings will have to be configured after resetting.
Reset the LOQED Touch Smart Lock
On the inside module (motor) is a reset button (see image).
The reset button is right above the wide connector socket.
Remove the handle using a hex key.
Remove the metal cover plate by pulling firmly from the top or bottom.
Gently pull the black cover plate from the inside module knob.
Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the white light flashes.
Wait until the light shines continuously. This could take up to 30 seconds.
Resetting the Bridge
A reset button is on the front of the LOQED bridge (see image).
Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. You may need a pen.
Wait until the light shines continuously.
Reconfiguring the LOQED Touch Smart Lock
Open the LOQED App on your phone.
Press on the menu bar in the top right corner.
Press "Install new lock"
Follow the instruction.
Reinstalling the lock doesn't work?
If reinstalling the lock doesn't work, you can try the following:
Remove the battery from the lock for 30 seconds. Then, put it back in and try again.
Restart your phone or turn Bluetooth off and on again, and try again.
If the light on the motor module continues to blink, there may be a cable break at the display. Check the cable.
Make sure the lock is turned on. Do you see anything on the display when you touch it? Replace the batteries if necessary.
Contact a LOQED employee through the chat function in your app.
Steps to Remove the Motor Module
Use the hex key to remove the inner door handle.
Remove the small black ring around the handle shaft.
Remove the aluminum cover.
Remove the black plastic cover around the knob.
Disconnect the colored Touch Display cable from the motor module.
Disconnect the red and black power cable from the motor module (from the batteries).
Use the hex key to remove the three black screws from the motor module.
Remove the motor module.
Steps to Install the New Motor Module
Slide the motor module over the shaft of the cylinder.
Guide the Touch Display cable along the backside of the motor module toward the connector.
Use the hex key to insert the three black screws into the motor module.
Connect the power cable and the Touch Display cable to the motor module.
Use the app on your phone to install the lock as new: Menu → Set up new lock.
Place the black plastic cover around the knob.
Place the aluminum cover.
Place the small black ring around the handle shaft.
Use the hex key to reattach the inner door handle.
LOQED Pure reconfiguration
LOQED Pure is mounted differently and does not replace the interior handle. If you need to reinstall a Pure, use the LOQED app setup flow and the Pure compatibility and installation article. If the Pure does not respond, first recharge the built-in battery pack or use the included 9V backup cable, then try setup again.
