The door handle of the LOQED Touch Smart Lock is fixed to the spindle.
It is important to install everything correctly. If you've missed a step, the door handle can feel loose, look crooked, or even come off unexpectedly.
If this is the case, you can do the following to secure everything correctly.
Check if the black plastic spacer is installed correctly around spindle (see photo below).
make sure the hex screw is securely tightened to hold the black spacer in place (see animation below).
The lower lip of the metal hood needs to be flush with the door.
Finally, tighten the hex screw of the door handle. This will lock the handle in on the spindle.
If you still encounter issues after this, it is possible that this has to do with the mortise lock itself. There might be some extra play in the mechanism itself. If that is the case, you might need to replace your mortise lock.
