Installation Manual – Replacing the LOQED Touch Display

Model: LOQED Touch Display

The LOQED Touch Display is the exterior-facing component of the smart lock. It features a touch interface that allows users to unlock the door using Bluetooth and/or Touch to Open. It also includes an LED display for PIN input.

Installation Instructions

Before beginning the installation, please read this guide and any accompanying documentation carefully and completely. Tools Required:

• Hex key (included with your LOQED lock)

• Screwdriver

Steps to Replace the Touch Display:

1. Remove the LOQED Smart Lock from the inside of the door:

o Use the hex key to remove the inner door handle.

o Remove the aluminum LOQED cover.

o Take out all 8 batteries from the battery compartment.

o Remove the black plastic cover around the knob.

o Disconnect the colored display module cable from the motor module.

o Unscrew the full LOQED enclosure from the door. Be careful to support the external hardware so it does not fall.

2. Remove the cylinder:

o Locate and remove the single cylinder screw on the side of the door (usually located below the deadbolt).

o Turn the cylinder slightly by hand, then gently pull it out.

3. Replace the Touch Display:

o Remove the external hardware from the outside of the door.

o Unscrew the display unit from the external hardware.

o Mount the new Touch Display and secure it properly.

4. Reassemble the lock:

o Reinsert the cylinder and tighten the cylinder screw.

o Reattach the LOQED enclosure to the door.

o Reconnect the display module cable to the motor module.

o Reinstall the black plastic cover around the knob.

o Insert all 8 batteries into the battery compartment.

o Replace the aluminum LOQED cover.

o Reattach the inner door handle with the hex key.
