Which door and lock types are supported?

Door and lock compatibility for LOQED Touch and LOQED Pure, including Euro profile requirements and the main differences between the two models.

Applies to: LOQED Touch Smart Lock and LOQED Pure. Where the models differ, use the model-specific section below.

Quick answer

  • Both LOQED Touch and LOQED Pure require a Euro profile lock/cylinder setup.

  • LOQED Touch replaces the inside door furniture/handle shield and uses a long interior shield.

  • LOQED Pure is a compact cylinder-mounted lock. It mounts on the inside rosette/cylinder position and does not replace the interior handle.

  • Use the installation check before ordering: LOQED installation check.

LOQED Touch compatibility

  • Designed for common Euro profile mortise locks with PC/PZ sizes 55 mm, 72 mm, 92 mm and 110 mm.

  • Not suitable for rim locks or non-Euro profile locks unless the door is converted.

  • The outside Touch Display is part of the LOQED Touch installation.

LOQED Pure compatibility

  • Requires a Euro profile lock and the included LOQED cylinder.

  • Works with separate round or oval rosette-style fittings around the cylinder.

  • Mounts using existing rosette screw holes and does not replace the existing inside handle.

  • Minimum clearance from cylinder center to doorframe edge: 30 mm.

  • Door thickness: compatible with doors up to 110 mm for asymmetric doors, or up to 55 mm measured from the cylinder screw to the inside. Extensions for thicker doors may be available through LOQED support.

  • Unsupported: non-Euro profiles such as oval, Scandinavian or US deadbolt profiles.

Not supported without door modification

  • Rim locks. A locksmith may be able to replace a rim lock with a Euro profile lock. See Replacing a rim lock with a Euro profile lock.

  • Doors where the cylinder, handle or doorframe clearances do not fit the selected LOQED model.

  • Outdoor gates or exposed outside installations where the inside module is exposed to water or low temperatures.
