Is the LOQED smart lock waterproof?
No. LOQED smart locks are intended for normal exterior doors where the inside module is protected indoors. The outside Touch Display is weatherproof, but the inside electronics are not designed for permanent outdoor exposure on a gate or fence.
What if I lose my phone?
Change your LOQED account password as soon as possible, or ask another administrator to remove your key. Changing your password logs out the lost phone and prevents it from opening the lock.
How do I enter if the lock battery is empty?
LOQED Touch: use a 9V battery on the emergency-power pins of the outside Touch Display, then replace or recharge the batteries.
LOQED Pure: use the included 9V backup power cable that connects to the motor module and is routed to the exterior cylinder cover, then recharge the built-in battery pack.
Can LOQED be used on fire-resistant doors?
LOQED is designed around Euro profile cylinders and metal lock components. Whether the complete door remains compliant depends on the door certification, installation and local requirements. If this is critical, check with the door supplier or installer before changing the lock.
How can I change the lock or key name?
Open the LOQED app, select the lock, go to Keys or My Lock, choose the name you want to change, edit it and save.
Does LOQED Pure have a Touch Display?
LOQED Pure does not include an outside Touch Display by default. It can use the optional LOQED Touch Display accessory. Articles about PIN codes, Touch to Open, Touch to Connect or Open House Mode apply to Pure only when that optional display is installed.
