Updated over a week ago

Is the LOQED Touch Smart Lock waterproof?

The inside module (housing for the batteries) of the LOQED Touch Smart Lock is not waterproof. Therefore, the lock cannot be installed on a gate or fence, even if it's covered by a roof, but still outside. However, the lock can withstand splashes of water, for example, when you open the door and it's raining.

What if I lose my phone?

If you've lost your phone, you can easily log in with your account on our website. The key on the lost phone will be automatically deactivated. Alternatively, you can ask another administrator of your lock to deactivate your key in their app.

How do I enter if the lock's batteries are dead?

The lock's batteries last for up to one year, and you'll receive a reminder to replace them in a timely manner. If you don't replace them on time, don't worry! The LOQED Touch Smart Lock has an emergency power connection on the outside. Simply press a 9-volt battery against the connector and open the lock using the app or code.

Is the lock allowed to be used on fire-resistant doors?

Yes, the lock has an SKG 3 certificate and therefore complies with fire/smoke resistance class B of the EN 15684:2012 standard, because the cylinder housing, core, and knob are made of materials with a melting point above 840 degrees Celsius. Please note that the EN 15684:2012 standard refers to the commonly used EN 1634 standard for fire resistance and smoke control tests.

How can I change or modify the name of the lock or key?

To change the name of your key or lock, follow these steps:

  1. Open the LOQED app on your phone.

  2. Select the lock for which you want to change the name.

  3. Go to 'Keys' -> 'My Key'.
