Changing the lock can prevent access by previous tenants, but you should discuss this with your landlord before making changes.
LOQED is designed so the old cylinder/lock hardware can usually be reinstalled when you move out.
LOQED Touch replaces the inside handle/shield, so keep the original hardware safely.
LOQED Pure does not replace your inside handle and is usually easier to restore, but you should still keep the original cylinder and rosette parts.
