MotionSense

MotionSense improves Touch to Open security by letting the phone communicate with the lock only when movement is detected. Applies to LOQED Touch and Pure with optional Touch Display.

Applies to: LOQED Touch Smart Lock, and LOQED Pure only when the optional LOQED Touch Display is installed. A base LOQED Pure without Touch Display does not have outside display buttons or PIN entry on the door.

To enable or disable MotionSense click:

Menu -> Account -> MotionSense

What is MotionSense?

MotionSense disables communication between your phone and the LOQED Touch Smart Lock while charging or if no motion is detected for 60 seconds. MotionSense minimizes accidental or unauthorized unlocks by activating the lock only when your phone is in motion. By minimizing unnecessary communication between your phone and the lock, MotionSense also helps conserve battery life on both devices.

Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues

If you're experiencing issues with the Touch To Open feature while MotionSense is active, try disabling MotionSense as an initial troubleshooting step. This often resolves connectivity problems related to motion detection or charging states. Should the issue continue, our LOQED support team is ready to help.
