What is MotionSense?
MotionSense disables communication between your phone and the LOQED Touch Smart Lock while charging or if no motion is detected for 60 seconds. MotionSense minimizes accidental or unauthorized unlocks by activating the lock only when your phone is in motion. By minimizing unnecessary communication between your phone and the lock, MotionSense also helps conserve battery life on both devices.
Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues
If you're experiencing issues with the Touch To Open feature while MotionSense is active, try disabling MotionSense as an initial troubleshooting step. This often resolves connectivity problems related to motion detection or charging states. Should the issue continue, our LOQED support team is ready to help. Contact us directly through the LOQED app by going to Menu -> Chat Support.
Note: Currently, MotionSense is only available for Android users. We are working on finalizing the necessary arrangements with Shelly and will release the version for Apple users as soon as possible.
