Applies to: LOQED Touch, and LOQED Pure only when the optional LOQED Touch Display is installed. A base LOQED Pure without Touch Display does not have outside display buttons for Open House Mode.
Open House Mode is available only on doors without an outside lever handle. With the mode enabled, touch a button on the Touch Display and then push the door open.
Open House Mode lets anyone open the door by touching one of the buttons on the Touch Display. A phone with a valid key does not need to be nearby.
When to use it
Use Open House Mode only when the door should temporarily be accessible to anyone, for example during an event or when people need to enter freely.
Enable or disable
Administrators can enable or disable Open House Mode in the LOQED app under My Lock → Open House Mode.
Does locking the door turn off Open House Mode?
No. Locking the door with Touch to Lock, the app or Twist Assist does not turn off Open House Mode. This is intentional: while the mode is enabled, the owner wants people to be able to enter with a touch, even if someone who is unaware of the setting accidentally locks the door.
To end this access, turn off Open House Mode in the app under My Lock → Open House Mode.
Important security note
After 4 hours, you receive an email reminder that Open House Mode is still enabled. Long-pressing a display button for 2 seconds can still lock the door, but the door is not secure while Open House Mode remains enabled because anyone can unlock it again from the Touch Display.
