How burglar-proof is the LOQED Smart Lock?

Security certification and practical burglary-prevention advice for LOQED Touch and LOQED Pure installations.

Applies to: LOQED Touch and LOQED Pure. Always follow the installation manual for your exact model.

LOQED smart locks are designed for secure front-door use. The final burglary resistance of the door also depends on the door, glass, fittings, cylinder protection and installation quality.

Certification and secure installation

  • LOQED Touch is SKG 3-star certified when installed and used according to the manual.

  • For LOQED Pure, use all required installation parts from the box, including the supplied rings where the manual requires them for SKG 3-star compliant installation.

  • Code access can affect strict certification conditions. If you need formal SKG compliance, follow the certification conditions for your model and installation.

Extra security advice

  • If your door has glass and the lock is visible from outside, use burglary-resistant glass such as P4A layered glass or approved security film.

  • For wooden doors with glass or an accessible letterbox, use certified drill/manipulation protection and consider letterbox security.

  • Make sure the cylinder and outside fittings have proper core-pulling protection where required.

  • A secure lock cannot compensate for a weak door, weak frame or poorly adjusted multi-point mechanism.

Backup access

LOQED removes the normal outside keyhole from daily use. Backup access depends on the model: LOQED Touch can use PIN code access and 9V emergency power via the Touch Display; LOQED Pure uses the included 9V backup cable and can use PIN code access only when the optional Touch Display is installed.
