The batteries last around 6 to 9 months, and you will get timely notifications to replace them.
You weren't able to replace them in time? Don’t fret! The LOQED Touch Smart Lock features an emergency power connector on the Display Module.
Connecting a 9-volt battery
With a 9-volt battery you can temporarily power the lock. Simply press a standard 9-volt battery against the two pins on the Display Module.
Wait for the lock to be ready, which will take about a minute. Then enter your code or use your smartphone to open the door.
Attention: Make sure to keep pressing the battery firmly against the contacts while the door is opening.
Attention: A 9 volt battery is not very powerful, so you might have to pull or push the door to make it easier for the lock to open.
